These terms govern your use of Kilnframe Desktop, made by Erhan Meydan (Kilnframe). By installing or using the app you accept them.

1. Free trial

Every feature is open for 30 days from the first start, with no card needed. After that your projects still open and edit; export and AI work need a subscription.

2. Subscription and licence

• The subscription is monthly ($10) or yearly ($100) and renews at the end of each period until you cancel it.
• It lets you use the app on two computers at a time. The app itself is not sold; you get the right to use it.
• You may not share, sell or rent your licence key.
• You can free a computer from inside the app and use the key on another one.
• You can cancel at any time with the link in Lemon Squeezy's purchase email or by writing to us. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the current period.

3. Payment and refunds

Payments are taken by Lemon Squeezy, which as the merchant of record issues the invoice and handles taxes. Your card details never reach us. You can ask for a refund within 14 days of a purchase, without giving a reason: hello@kilnframe.com.

4. AI services

The app's AI features work with third-party providers you connect (such as Anthropic, OpenAI, Google or ElevenLabs). Their fees, limits and terms are yours and are not included in the subscription. We do not guarantee the accuracy of what they produce; checking it before you publish is your responsibility.

5. Your content

The videos and content you edit with the app are yours; we claim no rights to them. You are responsible for holding the rights to the recordings, voices, images and music you use. Use the voice features (voice correction, voice-over) only with your own voice or a voice you have permission to use.

6. What you may not do

You may not reverse engineer the app, get around its licence check, distribute a modified copy, or use it to make unlawful content. The app's open-source parts (the Kilnframe core, FFmpeg and others) are under their own licences, listed with the app.

7. Updates

While your subscription runs, new versions are included. The app finds them by itself and asks you before updating.

8. Limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is". We recommend keeping backups of your recordings. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid for the subscription in the last twelve months.

9. Termination

We may cancel a licence that is used against these terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Your rights as a consumer under the laws of the country you live in are not affected.
